Working knowledge of Contract & Risk Management 5 month contract with possible extension Support internal audit services Our client has an opportunity for a Risk & Assurance contractor to provide support across the company’s Risk & Resilience Branch and the Internal Audit & Quality Branch. The role will provide support within internal audit services and will also look to provide expertise and support around the company’s risk management framework and fraud control processes. This will include conducting, leading and contributing to compliance and performance internal audits including planning, fieldwork, and reporting in accordance with the agreed audit plan and requirements of the relevant internal procedures. You will assist with the implementation of the annual internal audit program and strategy and provide regular status reports to the Manager Internal Audit and Quality on the overall internal audit program. You will also be responsible for updating, monitoring, and follow up of internal and external audit findings and recommendations within the company’s internal systems and provide regular status reports in relation to internal audit activities and risk management activities. The role will also provide technical advice and support across Icon Water business units on risk management activities, including workshop facilitation, formal review of business documentation and tailored solutions to meet business requirements within the frameworks. Suitable candidates will have a working knowledge of Contract and Risk Management with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will have demonstrated report writing experience and a working knowledge of project management methodology. Experience in IT systems, preferably asset management and data management analysis required. Desirable would be an understanding of physical security and risk management in the context of facilities including visitor management, security access passes, police checks, site inspections.
