Hills Grammar is seeking a Casual Cello Tutor to join our school’s outstanding Music Faculty based in Kenthurst. Key Priorities Teaching weekly individual lessons to students from Junior to Senior School Potential for conducting and preparing a small ensemble. Before school, during and after-school teaching times available depending on tutor availability and student allocation. Education and Experience Qualifications and experience in teaching cello to students from Kindergarten to Year 12 (experience across a range of levels is desirable). Strong working knowledge of music curricula. An understanding of and commitment to the educational needs of a wide range of students. Ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom. Personal Attributes A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students. A sense of humour. An ongoing commitment to professional learning, including making a contribution to the broader education community. A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
