Your new role As the Psychosocial WHS Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping a safe, healthy and supportive work environment for our people across Victoria and Tasmania. You’ll support the design and development of our psychosocial risk management framework, ensuring it reflects best practice and meets all legislative requirements. You will also conduct psychosocial risk assessments and deliver targeted training to enable our leaders to create safer workplaces, reduce incidents and improve engagement, strengthening our culture and overall wellbeing. Your work will directly support psychological safety, harm prevention and the ongoing development of a positive safety culture across the organisation. This is a new role for the team, full-time for six months. It offers a valuable opportunity to contribute from the beginning of this important work while further developing your expertise. There is also potential for the role to continue as part of a longer-term program. Your skills and experience You’ll bring: Experience as a WHS professional with strong knowledge of hazards, Victorian/Tasmanian legislation and best-practice risk management frameworks. Ability to translate complex WHS concepts into practical guidance through curiosity, analysis and clear communication. Confident in conducting risk assessments and analysing incident, complaints and engagement data. Skilled in preparing and contributing to high-quality WHS reports for leaders and governance groups. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively and influence positive outcomes.
