Marketing, Communication and Packaging Specialist WA Farm Direct is a leading fresh produce marketer and exporter of premium fruit, to international markets. With the recent agreement between the Australian and Chinese governments opening doors for Australian apple exports to China, we are poised to expand our presence in this vast market, but also aim at penetrating into additional Asian markets. Join us in this exciting opportunity to shape the future of Australian fruit exports and build strong connections with Greater China Market consumers. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote WA Farm Direct’s products in the Greater China market. Lead brand development, positioning, and communication to enhance market recognition and distributor engagement. Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO optimization & social media management – establishing and growing the company’s presence on key platforms (Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Douyin, and TikTok) to enhance brand visibility and product awareness, and email campaigns, tailored to Chinese consumer preferences. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events in Australia and Greater China Regions to identify new business opportunities and strengthen partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, design, logistics) to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns. Manage the marketing budget, optimize ROI, and provide regular performance reports. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders in China. Leverage your deep understanding of Chinese consumer behaviour and culture preference to help design tailored packaging solutions for various sales channels. Ideal Candidate 5+ years’ work experiences as senior brand, marketing and packaging executive. Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG, agriculture, or export sectors. Strong background in brand management, digital marketing, and market research. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English. Ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Experience in new packaging design, management and execution. Experience attending international trade shows and managing cross-cultural business relationships. Creative, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for driving market growth. Why Join Us?
