Client Services Team Leader

Step into senior leadership | Influence strategy, people, and process We are creating a new Client Services Team Leader role for a senior Client Services Manager ready to step into people leadership, or an experienced Team Leader looking for career progression within a growing wealth management and financial planning environment This role is an opportunity to move beyond day-to-day execution and into genuine leadership, shaping service standards, driving operational excellence, and partnering closely with advisers and senior leadership as our business continues to grow. Based in our St Kilda Road office, you will lead a high‑performing Client Services function that underpins the delivery of high‑quality, holistic financial advice to a sophisticated client base. The Opportunity As Client Services Team Leader, you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end client service process, leading a team of Client Service Officers while working in close partnership with three Advisers and the broader leadership group. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Client Services Manager who: enjoys mentoring and lifting others, wants greater influence over workflows, systems, and service models, and is seeking a clear pathway into operational or practice management roles. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for advice implementation, reviews, and ongoing client service Oversee the timely and accurate execution of advice across investment, superannuation, and platform solutions Act as the key escalation point for complex client service and implementation matters Design, prioritise, and manage workflows across multiple advisers and varying levels of complexity Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls, and service delivery standards Ensure client records, documentation, and advice implementation remain accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready Partner with senior leadership on business improvement initiatives and strategic projects About You You are an experienced client services professional with the confidence and capability to lead at a higher level.
