Business Systems Specialist Sydney, North Sydney – Full time, 5 days required in the office. Are you a hands on systems specialist who loves improving the way a business works? With strong autonomy and a culture that encourages fresh thinking, this business needs a capable Business Systems Specialist to drive improvements across ERP, CRM and other business critical systems. Based in the North Sydney office, you will be part of a small and supportive IT team and report directly to the IT Manager. About the Role As the Business Systems Specialist, you will work closely with users, senior stakeholders and the IT team to support, improve and optimise the business systems landscape. You will have a mix of hands on technical work, process improvement and project involvement. Responsibilities Working with the business to evaluate current systems and processes and identify opportunities to improve Supporting ERP, CRM (Salesforce) and other critical systems Translating business requirements into clear documentation, process maps and system changes Supporting system integrations to maintain data integrity while pursuing automation and efficiency Contributing to projects already in flight including data structure improvements and SharePoint enhancements Preparing monthly reports to review the effectiveness of systems and processes Building strong relationships with users, vendors and internal teams Playing a key role in an organisation that values collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys both solving system problems and working closely with the business. About You You bring strong systems experience and a proactive approach. You enjoy being the person who finds practical solutions and helps the business get the best out of its technology. Qualifications Strong ERP experience, ideally SAP, and confidence working with enterprise scale systems Experience with Salesforce CRM, BI tools and automation A background in FMCG, sales, logistics, distribution or similar environments A minimum of five years experience in systems, business analysis or applications support Ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels and meet tight deadlines A logical mindset with excellent analytical and documentation skills A hands on approach and the ability to work through technical detail Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity A collaborative style and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture Candidates with project management skills or relevant certifications will be viewed favourably.
