We are a leading Tree pruning and Tree removal company in the Northern Rivers of NSW, based in Lennox Head and West Ballina. We do residential and commercial work and are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that other companies can’t or won’t. As a result the business has grown and we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager and Estimator. Your Job Will mainly involve servicing the needs of commercial and residential clients and developing new contacts. You will also need to accurately estimate job costs, so some experience is essential. Package Offered Full-time. With options for flexibility. We believe in a good work/life balance. $130,000 to $160,000 pa. Including Commission of 5% on turnover. Wage will depend on experience and seniority. Plus Car or car allowance. Responsibilities Servicing needs of existing commercial and residential customers Proactively seeking new customers Estimate Job Costs and close the deal Accurate job specification so team can carry out the work Establish new business development strategies in liaison with owner. Networking relationships with appropriate industry professionals. Qualifications & Attributes A positive attitude is king Account Management Experience Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the tree industry. Able to identify trees Ability to estimate time for tree removal / pruning. Knowledge of current regulations and processes around tree removal & pruning. Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and problem‑solving skills Excellent personal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and your fellow team members A self‑starter who does not need supervision.
