Commercial Eyes- PLG Group of Companies is looking for a Medical Information Manager to join its teams. The latter will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of the assigned project portfolio team within the Medical Information Business Unit in Australia, New Zealand and in the Japan and Asia Pacific region. Role Responsibilities General Adherence to Commercial Eyes' values, policies and quality management systems. Contribute to and actively participate in the business planning processes. Work closely with the Head of MI on matters of strategic importance and provide relevant insights to the Consulting Leadership team. Support cross‑collaboration within the business by fostering relationships and collaborating with other business units to drive innovation, create efficiencies and expand service offering across the business. Performance manage and actively develop direct reports. Willingness to travel as required. Project & Client Management Responsible for client set up and contract management. Lead Medical Information project teams, in accordance with the Strategic Priorities, Purpose and Values. Act as Project Team Leader, participate in assigned projects and support project teams as required. Supervise, mentor and coach other members of the project team as required. Provide project leadership including client liaison, project scoping and proposal development, project team resourcing, project management and delivery and client follow up. Deliver strategically and technically sound project outcomes, reports, and presentations according to agreed deadlines, project budget and client requirements. Act as the Primary point of contact for the project. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), internally and externally. Ensure Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Complaints (PCs) are reported as per client requirement. Monitor activities that are within the scope of the project. Provide the client with regular reports in accordance with KPIs and timelines. Assist with preparations for internal and external audits, and with any allocated follow‑up actions. Demonstrate independence and initiative to develop and implement solutions. As required, support other teams and other business units. To anticipate regulatory implications of emerging safety issues and offer clients strategies for handling/managing such issues. Staff Management Lead a team of medical information professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of the medical information service. Recruitment, training and assignment of team in line with company needs, client expectations and budget constraints. Management of learning and performance of the team. Medical Information Ensure receipt, processing and follow‑up of all external and internal customer requests occurs within agreed timeframes and through provision of comprehensive, high quality balanced and accurate responses that meet company & industry requirements and standards. Identify and report all Patient Safety and Product Quality Complaints within required timelines to the relevant functions. Maintain (create, review and approve) standard responses in the medical information database. To liaise with clients to resolve enquirer questions. Business Growth Proactively develop business development initiatives and work with existing and potential clients in the healthcare sector to anticipate and understand their business needs and identify areas or activities with which CEPL can assist. Lead contributor to client retention. Developing strong relationships with existing clients and providing high quality consulting services to build client satisfaction and loyalty, leading to optimisation of repeat business and expansion of service provision across the Medical Information service offering. In conjunction with the Head of MI translate these conceptual discussions into concrete project proposals which provide a realistic description of the scope of work to be undertaken and a competitive cost estimate. Represent company externally, as a brand ambassador, with a goal of networking and relationship building with existing and potential clients. Achievement of KPI's as per business plan growth objectives. Profile Bachelor of Pharmacy or relevant scientific qualification 3+ years’ Medical Information experience, including supervisory responsibilities Strong scientific evaluation and communication skills Knowledge of MI systems, QMS, and Australian/NZ safety reporting requirements Excellent project management, problem‑solving and people leadership capabilities Additional language proficiency (Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin) is highly valued Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Health Care Provider, Product Management, and Quality Assurance Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
