Senior Speech Pathologist - Chatterbox Therapy Services Chatterbox Therapy Services is a paediatric Speech Pathology service located at 148 Henley Beach Road, Torrensville. We currently have 15 Speech Pathologists and 5 Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistants / Administration Officers in our close‑knit, friendly therapy team. We support children aged birth to 18 years with a variety of communication needs, including AAC, behaviour, literacy, early intervention, speech sounds, language, and fussy eating. We provide mobile and clinic‑based services, offering clients the possibility of receiving care near their homes or preferred areas where possible. The role Use a high level of experience and competence to support a variety of client presentations and goal areas independently. Provide holistic, effective assessment and intervention approaches for all children. Support the development of children aged 0‑18 years who present with communication difficulties such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Auditory Processing Disorder, Chromosomal Disorders, and Down Syndrome. Collaborate closely with other Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families. Advance in your specific interest areas—AAC, feeding, fluency, written communication, social communication, speech and language—if desired. Supervise and support newer graduate Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants. Assist in the team’s skill development and internal professional development opportunities. Benefits $95,000+ starting salary for experienced clinicians (to be discussed on a case‑by‑case basis). Brand new therapy space, including therapy rooms and a large open office shared with “Learn for Life Occupational Therapy”. Annual performance reviews with opportunity for rapid salary increase. $2,000 annual allocation for professional development and study leave. Friday client‑free afternoons for supervision, professional development, additional administration, shared lunches, and team bonding. Brand new iPad and Apple Mac Air provided for work‐related use. Comprehensive resource package with commonly used materials for assessment and therapy sessions. Maximum billable expectations of 25 hours per week, including travel time (4‑5 clients per day Monday‑Thursday, 2 clients on Friday). Weekly time allocated to PDs, case studies, group supervisions, and administration. Monthly Friday team meetings for professional development, general client discussions, and resource development.
