The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multiple youth and family-focused services, including family wellbeing, domestic and family violence response, and community access programs. This is a leadership role overseeing team leaders, coordinators, practitioners, and support staff while ensuring programs deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders, maintain accreditation and quality standards, oversee budgets, and support staff development, all while fostering strong community partnerships. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise program teams, providing mentorship, performance management, and professional development. Oversee planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of multiple youth and family programs. Ensure delivery of culturally appropriate, evidence-based services aligned with funding requirements and legislative standards. Monitor service quality, case management, client outcomes, and risk management processes. Manage program budgets, resources, reporting, and operational compliance. Build and maintain partnerships with community organisations, government agencies, and stakeholders. Represent programs at meetings, forums, and community events while supporting collaborative initiatives. Ensure programs meet quality standards, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement goals. Assist in organisational strategy, business development, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Promote workplace health, safety, and a culture of accountability and wellbeing. Role Requirements Experience within domestic and family violence, youth support, or intensive family support highly desirable Strong understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Demonstrated leadership, staff supervision, and team development experience. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of domestic and family violence, youth justice, and child protection legislation in Queensland is highly desirable. Probity Requirements Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or related field Current QLD Driver Licence Possession of, or ability to obtain, a ‘Positive Notice’ Blue Card (Working with Children Check). First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain (the employer will cover this cost). Willingness to undergo a National Police and Criminal History Check (the employer will cover this cost).
