Are you an experienced Civil Estimator looking for a role with a well established and locally-owned Tasmanian civil contracting business? About Our Client Our Client is a locally owned civil construction company that focuses on reliability and professionalism in delivering excavation, drainage, and civil infrastructure solutions throughout Southern Tasmania. With a mixture of both field and office-based duties, the Civil Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of civil construction and earthmoving projects. This is a key role supporting project profitability and client partnerships to ensure practical and efficient solutions are delivered. Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator in civil construction, earthmoving, or related fields Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications specific to projects Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel (essential) Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail A practical, hands‑on mindset with an understanding of earthmoving operation Excellent time management and communication skills A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar (desirable) Experience in Tasmanian local government and private sector tendering Benefits Competitive salary, car and allowances A supportive, collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional development and career advancement If you feel you have the skills and experience necessary to be successful in this role, please apply directly at Alternatively, please contact Nathan on *** for a confidential conversation.
