Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. Golding is currently seeking a Specialist Civil Estimator to work in our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will be required to undertake effective estimating work to support the continued growth of our Civil business. Regularly travel to project sites will be required. Key roletasks : Monitor and investigate work methods and costs on existing and past projects in order to assist with estimating activities Develop work methodologies for the bid that are safe, innovative, practical and cost effective Efficiently prepare quality estimates from first principles and in conjunction with procurement packaging Assist in the assessment of project risks and opportunities Present detailed estimates for review and update as required Assist in successfully launching projects, including developing budget estimates and financial success factors Represent Golding at tender briefings and other client-facing activities Key capability requirements : Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are preferred Strong, demonstrable skillswithExpert Estimator Solid past field experience with structures, earthworks and drainage to Main Roads standards High level analytical skills and commercial acumen Sound communication skills including the ability to interact with people at all levels within the business, and external stakeholders and clients Strong attention to detail and drive, working unsupervised to produce accurate estimates within tight timeframes Demonstrated experience in first principles estimating using Expert Estimator or similar industry-standard software Why Join Golding Employee-Centric Success : Our success is driven by the diverse talents and initiatives of our employees.
