The TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE) , are National Centres of Excellence, a joint initiative between the Australian Government and NSW Government under the National Skills Agreement. MCoEs are an innovative education model to tackle the manufacturing skills challenge for NSW and Australia. Located in Western Sydney, the Hunter, and the Illawarra, each centre specialises in different areas. These include advanced manufacturing with robotics and 3D printing, supporting clean energy in net zero manufacturing and sustainable manufacturing practices, supporting the heavy manufacturing industry, and supporting new and existing workforce build the skills they need for the future. By partnering with other CoEs, TAFEs, universities, and industry, these nationally networked centres ensure training aligns with real-world job requirements. The MCoEs offer short courses, microskills, and will soon deliver higher apprenticeships to help individuals become job-ready or enhance their skills for future opportunities. About the role As Project Coordinator Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving collaboration between industry, education providers, and key stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes. You’ll identify and engage with strategic partners and networks, manage co-located university relationships, and coordinate shared facilities and co-delivery arrangements. A key part of the role involves managing a targeted industry advisory board to inform curriculum development, ensuring the right voices are in the room to shape future skills. You’ll also oversee client engagement, maintain CRM systems (including Salesforce), and provide high-level administrative and project support to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives. This is a dynamic position requiring strong coordination skills and the ability to navigate complex environments with confidence. The successful candidate must be willing to travel regionally as required to the other two MCoE campuses at Newcastle and Wollongong. About You You are a proactive self-starter who thrives in building partnerships and managing diverse stakeholder relationships. With strong collaboration, networking, and communication skills, you bring experience in manufacturing and a proven ability to work across complex environments. You’re confident in dealing with ambiguity, take initiative, and can influence and negotiate to achieve impactful outcomes. Your background includes partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination, supported by sound administrative capabilities and familiarity with CRM systems. To be successful in this role you will hold a: Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. Significant experience relevant to project management and administration and exposure to project management tools and significant competency in Microsoft Excel.
