About The Role Location: Flexible (Head office in North Ryde, NSW) Position: Permanent Part-time (0.8FTE, 4 days a week) This role is vital in enabling our Church and Partnerships team to thrive as they inspire Australian Christians to pray, act and give in alignment with their faith. Located around Australia, this team builds relationships with churches, schools and supporters to deepen the church’s understanding of, and engagement with, issues of poverty and injustice, and to see greater impact across the globe. Reporting to the National Engagement Manager (Church & Partnerships), you’ll use your exceptional project management, communication and administration skills to manage supporter events, international supporter trips, church and donor proposals, impact reporting, and team data management. About You You’re an organised, proactive co‑ordinator who thrives in a role where no two days look the same. You love supporting a team, juggling multiple priorities with ease, and being the person people rely on to make things happen. You bring excellent communication and presentation skills (including confidence in Microsoft Suite and Canva), and you enjoy the logistics side of events, travel and supporter experiences. You’re equally comfortable extracting information from a CRM, preparing a proposal, booking flights or helping deliver a great event. You might come from an events background, sales support, marketing or another coordination role – what matters most is your ability to bring clarity, creativity and strong attention to detail into a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven team. You’re looking for meaningful work, a healthy balance (this role is 4 days per week), and the chance to contribute to an organisation that genuinely transforms communities and lives. Key Qualifications and Skills Aligned with the values, vision and mission of Baptist World Aid. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-impact presentation documents and impact reports. Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Canva. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, employ initiative, prioritise tasks and exercise discretion and a high level of confidentiality. Excellent organisational, planning and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Business, Communication/PR or similar areas. Pastoral experience or experience working in churches, preferably within the Australian Baptist movement. Understanding of best‑practice international development. Experience in donor relations or major gift fundraising. Knowledge of the Baptist movement in Australia. Exposure to events or campaign management. Experience working with faith‑based not‑for‑profit organisations. Benefits Salary sacrificing – part of your pay ($15,899) is paid tax free, giving you more money in your take‑home pay.
