The Property & Leasing Officer position is required to provide property management and leasing services across the City-wide property portfolio. This is an important role being the primary contact point for all City tenants (community and commercial tenants) across a wide variety of property related matters. About this Opportunity This role proactively undertakes a range of services that include, but are not limited to tenant engagement, property management, stakeholder engagement, customer service support and database management, under the direction of the Senior Property Services Officer and the Program Manager – Property. Selection Criteria Demonstrated understanding of property management services with an understanding of facilities / asset management principles (desirable). Experience in the preparation, negotiation and administration of leases / licenses (desirable). Experience fostering and maintaining relationships and networks with both internal and external stakeholders with excellent standards of customer service. Demonstrated strong time management and communication skills with the ability to work both individually and within a team environment. An understanding of the broad functions of Local Government. Ability to effectively communicate and present information, both verbally and in writing, via all standard forms of business communication (including emails, memos, letters, reports, policies, procedures, spreadsheets). Hours of Work This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight. You'll enjoying flexible work arrangements or an option for a fortnightly or monthly rostered day off. About the Benefits This position offers a salary range of $82, $87, (dependent on skills and experience) per annum, plus superannuation. Benefits include a generous superannuation co-contribution scheme, annual leave accrual which attracts an additional 17.5% leave loading, personal leave accrual, free parking, free access to online learning, and discounted memberships at City owned facilities.
