What Your Month Will Look Like Client‑Focused Work Conducting ITR appointments and discussing tax outcomes confidently. Managing your own portfolio of business and individual clients. Preparing and reviewing Company, Trust, Partnership, and Individual tax returns . Completing and reviewing BAS, IAS, and FBT returns . Delivering tax planning and structuring advice under the Senior Production Manager and Director’s guidance. Communicating proactively with clients to gather data and finalise lodgements. Leadership and Teamwork Supporting and training junior accountants and bookkeepers on tax and BAS work. Leading or contributing to fortnightly internal tax training sessions . Participating in daily and weekly huddles to share progress and collaborate. Attending fortnightly check‑ins with your manager to discuss performance, development, and client workflow. Keeping up to date with ATO changes and professional standards. Looking for ways to improve processes, client communication, and workflow. Contributing ideas and insights during team meetings. What You’ll Bring 6+ years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting. Strong technical knowledge of tax, BAS, FBT, and structuring . Experience using Xero, Xero Practice Manager (XPM), and Microsoft Office Suite . Advanced Excel skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail. A proactive mindset and willingness to support others. CPA or CA qualified (or in progress). Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position. Why Join Us?
