Join to apply for the Staff DevOps Engineer - Environments role at GamblingCareers.com We are looking for a DevSecOps professional to engineer and operate robust, high-performing and secure global environments for a large-scale entertainment product and define best practices that underpin our global casino and sportsbook platform. Responsibilities Driving the environments strategy for an entire global entertainment platform for non-prod and prod environments. Take ownership of the environments roadmap for new regulatory markets, collaborating across business and engineering teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery. Perform analysis of engineering practices around environments and provide best practices-based guidance to development teams. Collaborate with IT security, product managers, and engineering teams to communicate environments-related concerns and mitigate risks. Provide thought leadership for the DevSecOps team and wider engineering capabilities to drive environment-related initiatives. Lead and independently complete engineering initiatives from start to finish. Analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions, contributing to team goals and initiatives. Innovate within the team by driving improvements to enhance performance and efficiency. Govern and configure environments to protect from real-time attacks and proactively detect and drive remediation of incidents. Stay current with evolving environments landscape, promoting best practices and a proactive mindset. Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable Terraform, Helm, and Python code ensuring code quality and scalability. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a primary focus on platform and environments engineering. Strong understanding of network topologies, protocols, architecture and design principles. Skills and Attributes Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders. Analytical mindset to address complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies to grow as a security engineer. Preferred Qualifications Experience with technology stacks like Cloudflare, Kubernetes, AWS and Datadog. Experience with IaC technologies such as Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt. Experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline.
