Job Description – What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Initial Engagement & Assessment: Build rapport using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Clinical Formulation & Care Planning: Develop clinical formulations and personalised care plans tailored to individual needs. Risk Assessment & Management: Complete risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies in line with mandatory reporting requirements. Referrals & Service Navigation: Connect young people to appropriate headspace services, clinicians, and consortium partners. Informed Consent: Clearly explain consent processes, obtain permissions, and ensure accurate documentation. Stakeholder Communication: Engage with families, carers, and relevant stakeholders (with consent) to support holistic care. Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based individual interventions and brief targeted support. Group Programs & Family Work: Facilitate psychoeducation groups, social inclusion activities, and family consultations. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, holistic support. What You Bring Formal qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing. Eligibility to register or current registration with AHPRA or AASW. Profession must be one of the following: Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Mental Health Occupational Therapist. Strong understanding of the National Standards for Mental Health Services. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
