The role As our Project Scheduler – Capital Works , you’ll be the heartbeat of project delivery across Uniting’s property and infrastructure program. You’ll take ownership of creating, tracking, and refining project schedules that bring our vision to life — from concept through to completion. You’ll collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on time and on track. Your insight will help identify risks early, find smarter ways to work, and ensure our developments are delivered seamlessly. It’s a role for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys connecting the dots, and loves knowing their work helps create welcoming, purpose‑built spaces for the community. What you’ll do Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6 Bring together inputs from project teams, consultants, and contractors to build cohesive, realistic programs Track progress, highlight risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions Create clear reports and dashboards that tell the story behind the schedule Support resource planning and keep our leadership informed and confident in delivery What you’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in project scheduling within construction, infrastructure, or capital works Strong working knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6) Solid understanding of construction methodology and project lifecycles Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Even better if you have: Experience in aged care or community infrastructure projects Familiarity with Development Application (DA) processes and council requirements Understanding of risk, cost, and resource management principles Experience with Dynamics 365 Why you’ll love it here At Uniting, you’ll join a team that’s driven by purpose and fuelled by possibility.
