Job Details $40 per hour Long‑term position Immediate start Work hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday; 7:00 am – 3:00 pm on Friday; weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Assist mechanics during rig builds, refurbishment, and mechanical assembly tasks. Perform general mechanical labouring including dismantling, cleaning, prepping, and refitting components. Operate hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct parts cleaning, surface preparation, and basic finishing tasks. Support hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical installation work as directed. Assist with moving components and equipment using forklifts and slings where qualified. Qualifications Driver’s licence and reliable transport. Previous experience in a mechanical, workshop, fabrication, or industrial environment. Forklift licence. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical principles. using hand tools and mechanical power tools. Dogging / rigging or overhead crane experience (desirable but not mandatory).
