Workshop Manager (Instrumentation & Environmental Systems) Title: Workshop Manager – Instrumentation & Environmental Systems Location: Brisbane, QLD Salary: Generous six-figure base + super + company vehicle Step into a pivotal leadership role managing a dedicated instrumentation workshop servicing high-end environmental monitoring equipment. This is your chance to oversee a state‑of‑the‑art facility, lead a small but highly skilled team, and work with globally recognised systems (think Teledyne‑level technology). What You’ll Do: Establish and manage a high‑functioning workshop for air quality monitoring and environmental instrumentation. Lead and mentor a local Field & Services Technician, coordinating QLD field operations. Perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and system builds on advanced instrumentation. Maintain workshop equipment, calibration tools, stock, and consumables. Work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver flawless installations and customer handovers. Ensure compliance with WH&S legislation and company safety standards. What We’re Looking For: Relevant qualifications (TAFE diploma/certificate or equivalent). Experience in instrumentation, electrical systems, or environmental monitoring. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively and manage multiple priorities. A hands‑on, proactive approach to workshop and team management.
