You may know Bupa for our health insurance, dental and optical clinics, and aged care services, but did you know we also deliver visa medical assessments across Australia on behalf of the Australian Government for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.Key details:Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process. Casual Pathology Collectors/Health Assessor position at our busy Dandenong Centre Must have good availability to pick up shifts Monday to Saturday Centre hours can be from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-4pm on Saturdays Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours What you’ll do: Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record Your background: Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory) 2 years phlebotomy experience (essential) Experience working with people of multi-cultural background Why Bupa: This isn’t your average Pathology Collector position.
