End to End NPD role within food manufacturing Great opportunity to join a renowned food manufacturer Work on multiple projects at once for an award winning brand About the Client The business is a well known and highly regarded food manufacturer, a leader in its category and market segment. Creating world class snacking products for both domestic consumption and export the business has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. About the Role Reporting into the Head of Innovation and acting as Food Technologist you will be responsible for releasing multiple products at any one time. Your remit will be end to end and span: New Product Development: Managing multiple projects from concept to commercialisation, including recipe formulation, bench trials, scale-up, and factory commissioning. Product Improvement & Optimisation: Identifying opportunities to improve product quality, shelf life, and cost efficiency without compromising flavour or performance. Regulatory & Compliance: Ensuring all products meet food safety standards, labelling requirements, and customer specifications in accordance with FSANZ and retailer guidelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with QA, Production, Procurement, and Marketing teams to align technical outcomes with commercial goals. Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate formulation records, specifications, and project documentation to support traceability and audits. Continuous Improvement: Championing process improvement across both the innovation pipeline and existing product range. About You You are a proven Food Technologist or Product Developer with several years in an end to end product development role. Your experience has been gained within food or beverages and you hold a tertiary qualification in food science (or related) field along with a solid understanding of NPD, bench trials and regulatory requirements.
