Lawyer – Commercial & Employment (2+ PAE) | Flexible & Dynamic Firm Industry Legal is growing, and we're looking for a mid-level lawyer to join our team. You'll work directly with the Principal Lawyer, advising national clients across employment and commercial law matters. We are seeking a lawyer with a minimum of two years' post-admission experience who is confident managing advisory matters, enjoys working directly with clients and values clarity, consistency and practical outcomes. What you'll do: Deliver practical legal advice to clients Draft, review and negotiate a range of legal agreements Provide legal advice on a variety of employment and commercial law matters Manage workplace disputes and investigations Participate in business development and client engagement Contribute to legal articles and newsletters Manage a range of client relationships, both ongoing and project-based Work remotely with support from a skilled paralegal and experienced leadership What we offer: Flexible hybrid working (WFH with optional office attendance at our South Brisbane Office) A supportive and approachable/collaborative team culture Direct client contact and autonomy Access to unique, long-standing industry clients Genuine work-life balance and sustainable billing targets CPD support and mentoring for your professional growth Who we're looking for: A lawyer with 2+ years' PAE Current admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia is required Minimum 2+ years' experience in either employment or commercial law Experience in employment and/or commercial Confidence managing matters independently, with support where needed Strong legal analysis and drafting skills Ability to think on your feet and deliver clear, high-quality legal advice in a timely manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a remote team About the firm Industry Legal Group is a Brisbane-based commercial and employment law firm with a national client base.
