Sales Consultant – Furniture, Lighting & Homewares (Wholesale B2B) Are you passionate about interiors and love helping customers bring their design visions to life, both in person and online?Cafe Lighting & Living is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team in Wetherill Park. This hybrid role combines in-showroom service with online support, offering a dynamic opportunity to connect with clients across multiple channels. We work with designers, stylists, retailers, and homeowners to create beautiful, functional spaces. Our team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Role As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you’ll be the face of our brand in the showroom and a key contact for online customers. You’ll guide clients through product selections, offer tailored solutions, and help them bring their projects to life. You’ll also support virtual consultations, live chat, and remote site visits, while contributing to sales growth through client engagement and account onboarding. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist clients in the showroom and via online channels (video calls, live chat, email) Understand customer needs and recommend suitable furniture, lighting, and décor solutions Build strong relationships with trade clients, stylists, and homeowners Support onboarding of new accounts and follow up on leads Conduct site visits when needed to assist with project planning and product selection Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge Work to monthly sales targets and KPIs, including: Conversion rates New account acquisition Customer satisfaction and retention What We’re Looking For Proven experience in wholesale, retail or showroom sales, ideally in furniture, interiors, or homewares Strong customer service and relationship building skills Passion for interiors and helping clients find the right solutions Results driven with the ability to balance customer needs and commercial goals Confident communicator and problem solver Comfortable with virtual consultations and online customer support Experience with POS systems and inventory management Shopify experience is a bonus Self-motivated and proactive with a love for learning Flexible and responsive to client needs, including occasional offsite visits Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Why Join Us?
