The Role & The Team As the Aerodrome Senior Engineering Specialist, the successful applicant will support the Key responsibilities include Providing technical and operational guidance and direction to support the project team. The technical readiness of operational systems. Providing advice to support project decision making. Dependency identification, reporting, and management. Stakeholder engagement to determine operational and technical requirements. The development of technical and operational project artefacts. A clear understanding of processes and procedures to support planning and estimating other requirements as defined by the Enterprise Asset Management Framework (EAMF), Technical Management System (TMS) and Safety Management System (SMS). Please see the link below to view the full Position Description: Qualifications Completed a tertiary qualification in Engineering and be eligible for Registration as a Professional Engineer in relevant area of engineering in accordance with relevant legislation e.g. Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ). Significant experience with the application of Systems Engineering processes to unique and complex systems across multiple industries. Experience with engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated values‑based behaviours, and ability to support organisational capability and culture. Excellent oral and communications skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Previous experience with the application of aviation Safety Management Systems (desirable). Sound understanding of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 171 and Part 172 (desirable).
