The objective of the Operations Transformation team is to deliver key Transformation Projects across Engineering & Maintenance and the Operations Division to meet our long-term operational and financial goals while supporting the business in the identification, prioritisation, and delivery of long-term projects. Reporting to the Head of Fleet Planning & Optimisation, theEngineering Transformation & Strategy Specialist role will support the delivery of Transformation and Strategy best practices. The successful candidate will actively engage with Engineering & Maintenance and Operations stakeholders to lead, drive, and support operational strategic improvements and business transformation. In addition, you will: Build foundational data sets analysis and relationships with the analytical community across E&M, Operations, and the company, becoming the go-to specialist in specific systems and data sets. Benefits valuation of initiatives either working directly with the business units or supporting project managers and subject matter experts Regular financial reporting of transformation progress Modelling data and business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team. What you need to be successful: Experience in strategy, transformation or consulting roles, or Finance FP&A experience Analysis of Engineering data to drive transformation or continuous improvement outcomes. Finance cost analysis, forecasting, optimisation, project benefits, financial reporting, or management accounting. Demonstrated ability to build trusting, effective ongoing business relationships with diverse groups of people across the organisation. Ability to interpret complex data, and draw, visualise, and present recommendations to stakeholder groups. Advanced Excel skills and/or Power BI skills.
