Retail and Events Executive - Sydney Hourglass Cosmetics is a vegan and cruelty‑free luxury beauty brand recognized by Forbes, Fast Company and Time. Founded in 2004, Hourglass is available in 32 markets and nearly 4,600 retail locations worldwide, including Sephora, Ulta, Neiman Marcus, Selfridges and Space NK. We are seeking a passionate and results‑driven Retail and Events Executive to inspire, educate and empower store teams to sell Hourglass Cosmetics. In‑store, the Retail and Events Executive will lead by example – selling side‑by‑side with the team, demonstrating products, building a sale through makeup application, leading store trainings, and planning and executing successful events. The role upholds the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism and compliance with store policies and fosters strong relationships with store leadership and selling teams. What You Do Own and drive sales performance across all points of sale within the territory In‑store sales support and education that delivers meaningful, lasting impact on store brand awareness and productivity Conduct detailed sales analysis by location and implement tailored strategies to optimize performance in each account Assess brand merchandising regularly to ensure premium representation and alignment with brand standards Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partner management, fostering ongoing communication to drive initiatives and exceed sales targets Plan and execute high‑impact store events that reflect brand standards and deliver results Adhere to company budget guidelines and ensure thoughtful use of company resources to achieve end goals Maintain prompt and professional communication with both retail partners and the corporate office, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries You'll Love This Job If You Are RESULTS‑ORIENTED: You are a strong seller with a bias for action A STRONG COMMUNICATOR and COLLABORATOR: You work and communicate effectively with all customers and members of the organization AN INSPIRATIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST: You are a great makeup artist with a proven track record in coaching to deliver high performance results and the ability to connect artistry and selling CURIOUS: You have a genuine interest and personal passion for beauty, luxury, design & art PASSIONATE about beauty: You are eager to learn and absorb all things related to beauty and how to build a business Qualifications Minimum 5 years industry experience Experience working within retail environment Superior training and motivational abilities Analysis of sales results, sales forecasts and promotional impact Excellent makeup artistry skills Eye for merchandising Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities Exhibit effective communication skills with customers, peers and management Experience in working with MS Word and Excel Role requires travel to store locations and own car Must have flexibility to work weekends Some domestic travel may be required Valid driver’s license is required Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
