Overview Exercise is important at every age As an exercise assistance volunteer, you will be helping residents in our independent living seniors community develop their line dancing skills, working alongside our Health and Wellness Coordinator. Responsibilities Assist residents in developing line dancing and chair yoga skills. Provide clear instructions, explanations, and personal demonstrations. Encourage residents to be active and have fun rather than compete. Collaborate closely with staff to support residents’ wellbeing. Commit to at least 6 months of continuous engagement. Qualifications Experienced yoga practitioner familiar with chair yoga. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to working with older adults. Must be over the age of 18 years. Willing to commit for a minimum of 6 months. Commitment & Details Regular – more than 6 months. Time Required: Tuesdays 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.
