Big Tyre specialises in tyres, wheels and rubber tracks. Based in Toowoomba, we design, manufacture, rebuild, repair, and import world leading products to supply our customers. Providing goods and services to leading equipment manufacturers, dealers, and retail customers, we pride ourselves on quality and a high level of customer service. In fact, our manufactured goods are used in over 50 countries around the world. THE ROLE Our team consists of about 25 people (including office and factory), and we enjoy working together in a professional and supportive environment. Our office team includes sales, accounts, IT services, and management. The primary tasks of this role will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payment of staff wages, payroll tax payments, and submitting IAS and BAS statements. On quieter weeks, spare time would be used for data entry and checks associated with our online store, or if preferred, simply enjoy shorter work hours. The position is part‑time (12 hours per week) to work in our Toowoomba office. Official business hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and the accounts position offers the opportunity to tailor your work hours according to personal circumstances (for example in between school pick-up and drop-off times).
