Early Childhood Teacher (Full or Part Time) Juniors at Wamberal has a permanent, full-time (part-time considered) position for an enthusiastic and team orientated ECT to work 3 days per week. The position requires someone who is genuinely committed and motivated towards making a positive difference in the lives of our children, families and colleagues. We are a small, family owned service. We are dedicated to providing quality education and care to all children attending our service. We operate 51 weeks of the year & close over the Christmas/New Year period and Public Holidays. Our business hours are 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. At Juniors , we require a team player, someone who is reliable, dedicated to best practice, a great communicator and people who are passionate about the early years. All rooms are staffed with permanent, additional Educators Above award wages Reduced fees available if enrolling your child in our service End of year service closure Additional paid leave during end of year service closure Uniforms are provided Paid First Aid and CPR training for all staff Further training and career progression encouraged About the roles - Work with teams of dedicated professionals who are always working in the best interests of children Contribute to shared planning and programming for all children Work with children aged from birth to school age You must be available to work between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday ECT applicants with a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and actively working towards their degree are welcome to apply The successful applicants will have - A genuine commitment and drive in providing children with the best possible start in life Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families and colleagues Experience in an Early Childhood service and a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF Current Workingwith Children number, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Child Protection training and Safe Food Handling training Completed or actively working towards their qualification/degree ECT position requires Teacher Accreditation through NESA An ACECQA approved Diploma qualification (early childhood) if currently studying towards Degree Confident written and verbal communication skills Experience with digital programming platforms and general computer skills Juniors at Wamberal prioritises children's health and safety.
