The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team at our Newcastle facility. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving project success; leading cross-functional teams, managing risks and resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will act as the key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication, structured governance, and proactive problem‑solving to ensure every project achieves the standards of quality and excellence that define RPC. The Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, budgets, and resource schedules. Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management. Establish effective project controls, risk management, and reporting mechanisms. Coordinate cross‑functional teams to achieve project objectives and drive collaboration. Ensure contractual, financial, and quality requirements are met throughout project delivery. Monitor performance, budgets, and progress; report variances and implement corrective actions. Manage project records, status reporting, forecasting, and compliance with governance standards. Conduct project close‑out reviews, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Support business development and client engagement activities when required. The Ideal Candidate Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing contracts and financial performance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to motivate cross‑functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Formal qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP). Familiarity with ISO, Quality, and WHS standards. Certification in a project management methodology.
