Working closely with Nexon's clients and our support services teams, you'll help ensure that all projects transition smoothly into the capable hands of our support team. In this client‑focused role, you'll be part of a dynamic cross‑functional team and will have the opportunity to engage in pre‑sales activities, high‑level design, and implementation across various cloud technologies. We're looking for someone with strong communication and presentation skills, along with a strong technical background in cloud solutions. We can't wait to see the positive impact you'll have Key Responsibilities Deliver end‑to‑end solutions for the Microsoft Modern Workplace. Engage with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive the implementation process. Offer technical expertise and troubleshooting support for Modern Workplace environments. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure smooth and effective project execution. Maintain a competitive advantage by remaining informed about the latest Microsoft technologies and adhering to established best practices. Utilise best‑practice risk mitigation strategies and effectively address implementation challenges while proactively engaging with stakeholders. Develop Conditional Access policies and implement Zero Trust security models within M365 and Azure Entra ID. Implement best practices in compliance and governance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, the Essential Eight, and NIST. Advise on the licensing models and cost optimisation associated with M365 to ensure that organisations maximise the value of their security investments. Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities for other Cloud Services team members. Experience & Knowledge 10+ years commercial IT experience with 5+ years cloud‑focused experience. A passion for security, automation, and continuous improvement. Demonstrated expertise as a Modern Workplace Consultant, Microsoft 365 Engineer, or in a comparable position. Extensive experience in implementing and managing security configurations and policies at the tenant level. Demonstrated expertise in delivering large and complex projects, including on‑premises to cloud migrations, hybrid cloud integrations, and cloud‑to‑cloud migrations. Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies, including: Exchange Online: deploy, migrate, configure Microsoft Purview: Data Loss Prevention, Information Barriers, Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels), Insider Risk Management, Privileged Access Management, Audit, Communication Compliance, Compliance Manager, Data Lifecycle Management, eDiscovery Microsoft Entra: Identity Management, MFA, Conditional Access Intune: design, deploy, configure Microsoft Defender: Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender Vulnerability Management Hybrid cloud infrastructure: Microsoft server infrastructure (AD DS, CA, NPS, RRAS, RDS, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Exchange) Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS‑102, SC‑100, SC‑300, SC‑400) are highly regarded Personal Attributes Demonstrated strong organisational abilities and effective time management skills. Capability to operate independently and efficiently. Excellent communication abilities, encompassing both written and verbal forms. Effective troubleshooting and analytical techniques.
