National Transport Administration Manager National Transport Administration Manager State Transport & Warehousing is continuing our strong growth across Victoria and nationally. As we expand, we’re seeking a National Transport Administration Manager to lead and optimise all transport administration functions across State Transport’s national operations. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, commercially focused role responsible for building consistent, scalable administration frameworks that support operational performance, revenue integrity, national growth and delivers exceptional outcomes for customers. About the Role Key aspects of the role include: Provide national leadership and governance across transport administration teams, setting clear standards, structure and accountability Own and standardise end to end transport administration, including run sheet processing, POD management, invoicing accuracy and reconciliations Lead national invoicing and revenue integrity, ensuring timely billing, accurate driver pay inputs and elimination of revenue leakage Oversee bank to FMS reconciliations, controls, variance analysis and corrective actions Act as the senior escalation point for complex customer billing, driver pay and margin issues Drive systems excellence, data integrity, reporting standards and KPI frameworks across all states Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and improve efficiency Maintain full ownership of customer, driver and pricing setup within the Freight Management System to ensure accuracy and commercial outcomes Support commercial decision-making, pricing reviews and margin protection initiatives Work closely with Operations to align administration workflows with service delivery and compliance obligations Support credit risk management through proactive use of tools such as CreditorWatch, partnering with Finance on credit exposure and collections Manage and review key suppliers and vendors, ensuring value, performance and cost control Play a critical role in building a scalable national administration function that supports growth, governance and customer experience What We’re Looking For Proven experience in senior transport or logistics administration (multi site or national highly regarded) Strong understanding of Freight Management Systems and transport invoicing workflows Commercially minded with a sharp eye for detail, margin protection and revenue accuracy Confident leader who can set standards, hold teams accountable and build high performance cultures Strong process and systems mindset, with experience driving automation and efficiency Calm, structured and decisive, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communicator who can work cross-functionally and influence at all levels Experience with credit risk tools (e.g. CreditorWatch) and financial controls is highly regarded Ready to Take the Next Step?
