The position involves working closely alongside the new Director of Newborn Research at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Prof. Brett Manley, and a dedicated and enthusiastic team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals undertaking clinical research.**You will be responsible for:*** Engagement with families in the NICU and on the antenatal and postnatal wards* Seeking consent from families for their newborn infant to participate in clinical trials* Close collaboration with onsite and offsite (interstate or international) trial leads and multidisciplinary teams* Undertaking randomisation* Maintaining screening logs* Accurate and complete data entry and data management* Working across more than one clinical trial at a time, and assisting with additional studies as required, with flexibilityAll must be in keeping with Good Clinical Practice.
