Location : Surat Basin (FIFO from Brisbane) Roster : 14 : 7Type : Full-Time, Permanent Salary : Competitive + Uplift + Super An excellent opportunity has emerged for a proactive and safety-driven HSE Advisor to join a high-performing team delivering essential energy and infrastructure works in Queensland. Working on a 14 : 7 FIFO roster from Brisbane, this is a permanent position with a leading contractor delivering complex and high-impact regional projects. You’ll be joining a values-led business where safety is more than a KPI – it’s embedded into culture, behaviours, and project success. About the Role : As the site-based HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance across project delivery. You’ll work closely with operations teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to ensure safety is owned and lived on site. Responsibilities include : Providing daily, on-the-ground HSE guidance to field teams Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments in line with internal procedures and legislative requirements Supporting incident investigations and contributing to continuous improvement actions Facilitating toolbox talks, inductions, and HSE training Building a safety-first culture through positive engagement and communication Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance records What We're Looking For : Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum) 3+ years’ experience in a site-based HSE role – ideally in civil, energy, or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, systems, and audit processes Ability to build rapport with site personnel and influence safe behaviours Confidence working independently and making sound HSE recommendations Previous FIFO or remote site experience will be well regarded What’s On Offer : 14 : 7 FIFO roster from Brisbane Permanent role with a stable pipeline of infrastructure and energy projects Well-supported site environment with strong operational leadership Opportunity to make a real impact and be part of a collaborative, safety-led culture Competitive base salary + site uplift + super This is a great opportunity to join a team that values people, performance, and proactive safety leadership.
