Please note, this position is a hybrid role based in Lake Macquarie, and you will be required to be in the office at least 2 days per week. What’s in it for you? Are you a Software Developer with 3-5 years of experience looking for a dedicated integration challenge with plenty of opportunities to grow your career? In this hybrid position based out of Lake Macquarie, you will work within a small development and QA team, where you will be focused on building critical integrations using C# and modern Microsoft technologies. What you’ll be doing: In this hands‑on position, you will work within a small team and primarily focus on analysing, designing, developing, and supporting critical system integrations. You will code in C# to build robust and scalable connections between the clients’ ERP systems and third‑party systems. You will be a key customer‑facing member of the team, working closely with clients to understand their business needs, gather integration requirements, and provide ongoing consulting support. You will provide clean, reusable code in a mostly Microsoft environment, working closely with other developers, testers, and architects. You will act as a mentor to less experienced developers, and provide input in internal meetings to advocate for best software engineering practices, such as automated testing, continuous improvement, and continuous delivery. Experience required: You have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Software Developer, with strong commercial experience in C#. You have demonstrated experience in building and supporting system integrations (e.g., API development, data synchronisation). Experience in a consulting or customer‑facing role, including gathering requirements and explaining technical solutions to clients, is very important. Desirably you have experience with Azure Function Apps or other serverless/cloud integration technologies (Azure or AWS). You will be based within commuting distance of the Lake Macquarie office and be able to travel to the office at least 2 days a week.
