Key Responsibilities Oversee garden and property maintenance for the hotel grounds, outdoor areas, and parking zones. Plan and supervise bar, restaurant, and meal service activities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the licensed dining area. Coordinate function bookings or group dining requests as required. Observe and ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws, responsible service of alcohol and state hospitality regulations. Monitor compliance with all other relevant laws and operational obligations applicable to hotel and motel establishments. Assess and review customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback, handling complaints professionally, and implementing service improvements. Oversee accounting activities including daily takings, invoicing, cash handling and financial reporting requirements. Monitor purchasing activities, stock control and supplier orders for food, beverages, cleaning supplies and maintenance items. Ensure all operational areas comply with occupational health and safety requirements, including staff training and hazard management. Provide guests with local tourism information, including nearby attractions, directions and available transport options. Arrange guest tours, transportation and local travel assistance when requested. Skills & Qualifications Required AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Hospitality Management 1-3 years of relevant experience in hotel/motel management or a similar hospitality leadership role Strong ability to manage staff, operations and customer relations across multiple departments Knowledge of Australian hospitality regulations, licensing, OHS standards and accommodation requirements Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve guest issues promptly Experience in a regional hotel, motel or pub accommodation environment highly desirable About Company Dalwallinu Hotel Motel is a well‑known regional hospitality establishment located in the town centre of Dalwallinu. The property offers 8 hotel rooms with shared amenities and 11 modern motel units including twin, double and family rooms with en‑suites and air‑conditioning. The venue also operates a licensed restaurant and bar , serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily to guests, locals and travellers. We are now seeking a full‑time Hotel or Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of the business, maintain guest satisfaction and lead staff across all accommodation and dining services.
