We are pleased to represent Stows Waste Management in recruiting an organised and reliable Administration & Finance Officer to support the team with day-to-day finance tasks, administration, and general office support. Stows Waste Management is a long-standing Australian family business that has grown steadily over the years, providing collection, transport and disposal services for liquid and solid waste across a wide range of industries. They are known for building strong customer relationships and delivering a consistently high level of service. This role suits someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in accuracy, and values working in an environment where tasks vary throughout the week. About the Role This ongoing part‑time role offers flexible working hours of 9AM–3PM, Monday to Friday, within a supportive on‑site team environment. You’ll provide essential support across administration, finance processing, and general coordination tasks to ensure documentation, invoices, and record‑keeping are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Processing accounts payable and receivable Maintaining accurate records and finance documentation Assisting with payroll preparation tasks and timesheet validation Supporting operational administration including data entry, filing, and reporting Assisting with internal requests and coordinating information Responding to enquiries and redirecting as required General office and administrative support across the business About You You take pride in being dependable and detail focused. You enjoy having clear responsibilities and contributing to a team where accuracy and consistency matter. We are looking for someone with: Administration experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail and time management Confidence working with finance systems, data entry and invoicing Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business systems A calm, professional communication style — written and verbal Experience in payroll support, finance processing or accounts administration will be highly regarded.
