About the role: Managing all legal aspects of the business. Maintaining all compliance & regulatory requirements. Handling and promoting all health, safety and environment objectives and policies. Drafting, amending and negotiating all commercial contracts. Administering and managing the contract database. Liaising with external law firms. Supporting overseas legal requirements when needed. The ideal candidate: Senior Legal Counsel (8+ years PQE) with experience advising large corporate organisations ideally involved in the resources sector (mining, oil, gas etc). The ability to work autonomously as well as engage collaboratively with key stakeholders globally. Currently working for a major law firm or an in‑house legal team of a large corporation.
