Senior Legal Counsel

Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team. Description Key Responsibilities: Preparing, reviewing and negotiating a diverse range of contracts. Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Profile: Ideally a minimum of 8 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm or In-House organisation Experience of project development within the engineering/construction sector In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts General commercial experience. Proven ability to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail Job Offer The role has great mentoring with the opportunity for continued growth.
