Located in the northern suburbs of Perth our clients are a well‑established and highly successful construction company, due to growth the Directors would now like to add to the successful team with the addition of a management accountant (Newly created role). Responsibilities Maintenance of the financial records of the company Support and work close with external accountants Oversight of Payroll & AP staff & functions AR collection (working closely with the operational admin staff who prepare all job cost estimates and invoices) Preparation of regular Financial Reports to management & the Board (particularly weekly AR, AP & Cashflow forecast reports) Primary point of contact with our external accountants Delivery of month end accounts and monthly management report preparation Taxation & compliance matters Preparation of end of financial year reports and audit reviews Primary point of contact for the company banking relationships Report into the Directors Qualifications Have 2 or more year's experience in Australia as a Management Accountant Ideally CA/CPA part or fully qualified but not essential Be able to demonstrate good time management Experience with XERO software Want a long‑term position with a growing and very successful company Ideally have experience within the construction industry but not essential Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Must have permanent right to work in Australia Strong financial modelling and budgeting experience, including cash flow forecasting Benefits A salary of between $120,000 to $140,000 + Super Long term position with fantastic promotion prospects Low staff turnover company Office located in the northern suburbs of Perth Newly created position Latest software Fantastic development projects Growing and highly successful construction company At Select Staffing we value and respect our candidates so every application is treated confidential at all times.
