Positions Available Royal Building Academy is currently seeking qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors to deliver and assess in the following qualifications. BSB40120 - Certificate IV in Business CPC30620 - Certificate III in Painting and Decorating MSF30322 - Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology RII60520 - Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design Must have TAE40110/TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. Must have vocational competency at least to the level delivering training and assessment related to which the trainer/assessor will teach in the following qualification. Relevant vocational qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed. Demonstrated current industry experience relevant to the qualification area. Sound understanding of the 2025 Standards for RTOs and the National Code 2018 . High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Evidence of ongoing professional development in the fields of knowledge and practice of vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment. Evidence of professional development and industry engagement within the past 12 months. Experience in handling administrative work related to training and assessment. Prior experience of contextualisation of assessment tools and training materials. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of VET legislation including and Standards for RTOs 2025. Position Overview As a Trainer/Assessor, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating training and assessment activities to ensure they meet the requirements of the training package and the Standards for RTOs 2025. You will also ensure all contractual and compliance obligations are met throughout the delivery of the training programs. Key Responsibilities Develop, prepare, and deliver training sessions in line with Royal Building Academy’s Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) and relevant training package requirements. Develop and maintain high‑quality learning and assessment resources to support effective training delivery. Conduct assessments in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date training and assessment records. Mark assessments and provide constructive and timely feedback to students. Respond to student queries and support student engagement with course content. Monitor and record student attendance, course progress, and assessment outcomes; provide required data to the administration team regularly. Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities. Contribute to the ongoing development and standardisation of assessment processes. Support students throughout their learning journey by providing academic guidance and constructive feedback. Maintain professional currency through ongoing industry engagement and professional development.
