Trainer and Assessor Individual Support Aged Care As a Trainer and Assessor of Individual Support in Aged Care with Health Link Training, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students seeking qualifications in these essential care sectors. Working on a contract basis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of care professionals in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. What you’ll be doing Plan, prepare and deliver training sessions. Assess student competency through both theoretical and practical assessments. Provide individualized support and feedback to help students achieve their learning goals. Collaborate with the broader training team to ensure consistency in teaching and assessment approaches. Maintain accurate student records and provide progress reports as required. What we’re looking for Relevant vocational qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, or equivalent. Clinical nurses are invited to apply. Demonstrated experience as a qualified trainer and assessor in this sector. Strong knowledge of the training package requirements and assessment methods for the relevant qualifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners. Proficient in using learning management systems and other training technologies. Flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Proactive attitude with a desire to build further relationships with organisations for staff training.
