Trainer Assessor - Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) Are you a Nurse or experienced health professional who’s passionate about sharing your knowledge and developing the next generation of care professionals? Skills Training College is seeking a motivated Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) and our specialised High Intensity Support Skills (HISS) programs . This role is ideal for trainers with a Nursing background who thrive on delivering high-quality, engaging training to both Domestic and International students. About the Role As part of our dedicated training team, you’ll: Deliver and assess the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) qualification. Deliver key units including:HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely High Intensity Support Skills (HISS) training covering essential advanced care topics. Assess and grade theoretical and practical assessments with accuracy and attention to compliance. Provide ongoing student support and mentoring, ensuring learners are confident and work‑ready. Coordinate and follow up on student work placements and liaise with supervisors to ensure outcomes are met. Deliver training to both Domestic and International cohorts, adapting delivery methods for diverse learner needs. Provide quality online support sessions. About You We’re looking for someone who has: A nursing qualification (Enrolled or Registered Nurse) with recent, relevant industry experience. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or equivalent. Current knowledge and experience in aged care, disability, or health support services. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to engage and motivate learners from all backgrounds. A strong understanding of workplace compliance, safety, and care best practices.
