Clinic Nurse (Registered Nurse) - Full Time Optimal Health Clinic is based in Mermaid Beach on QLDs Gold Coast. Our team delivers personalised care and treatments to our patients with a focus on wellbeing and longevity medicine. We are looking for a second Nurse to join our growing team Monday to Friday at our Mermaid Clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in general nursing duties including medication administration, communicating with doctors, using EMR (medical Software), speaking with patients, using computers, being timely and having a passion for men’s and women’s health. You will be working day‑to‑day with our medical team who provide telehealth and in‑person consulting as well as our large client base who are invested in their health. This day‑to‑day role will involve clinical duties as well as administrative duties including some reporting. This position would ideally suit a candidate with some nursing experience; however, this is not essential, and newly registered nurses are welcome. We will provide on‑the‑job training. Our team is very flexible, and we have flexible work conditions/hours. What you'll be doing Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Collaborating with our team of medical professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Assisting with the preparation and set‑up of examination rooms, equipment, and supplies. Participating in the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures. Engaging in continuous professional development to stay up‑to‑date with the latest nursing practices and technologies. What we're looking for A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar clinical nursing role, preferably within a medical clinic or outpatient setting. Satisfactory clinical skills and knowledge of general medical and surgical nursing practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare technologies.
