Clinical/ Forensic Psychologist - The Forensic Hospital – TPT (24hpw) up to 7 August 2026 Employment Type : Temporary Part TimePosition Classification : Clinical PsychologistRemuneration : $57.30 - $69.84 per hour plus superannuationHours Per Week : 24Requisition ID : REQ Applications close : 4 January 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT The Clinical/Forensic Psychologist provides high quality, evidence-based psychological services within the high-secure Forensic Hospital. The position works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the assessment, diagnosis, formulation and treatment of forensic patients and others with serious mental illness and criminal justice system involvement. This role involves multimodal clinical and risk assessment, case formulation and delivery of individual/group intervention for mental health recovery and to address factors associated with risk of reoffending. Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with an accredited Master’s degree (6th year) or higher in clinical or forensic psychology or other relevant endorsed area of psychology (e.g. clinical neuropsychology). The Forensic Hospital is a high-secure forensic mental health facility in New South Wales, operated by Justice Health NSW. This facility provides specialist, therapeutic inpatient care for adults and adolescent forensic, correctional, and high-risk civil patients. A multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals provide care across the clinical spectrum, from high dependency and acute care, to long stay and rehabilitation care.
