Clinical/Forensic Psychologist – The Forensic Hospital – TPT (24hpw) up to 7 August 2026 Employment Type : Temporary Part‑Time Position Classification : Clinical Psychologist Remuneration : $57.30 – $69.84 per hour plus superannuation Hours Per Week : 24 Applications close : 4 January 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT Applications are accepted until the application close date. This position is not expired. The Role The Clinical/Forensic Psychologist provides high‑quality, evidence‑based psychological services within the high‑secure Forensic Hospital. The role involves multimodal clinical and risk assessment, case formulation, and delivery of individual and group interventions to support mental health recovery and reduce re‑offending risks. The psychologist works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat forensic patients and others with serious mental illness and criminal‑justice system involvement. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA & Qualifications Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Accredited Master’s degree (6th year) or higher in clinical or forensic psychology or a relevant endorsed area (e.g., clinical neuropsychology). Experience in forensic or high‑secure mental health settings is desirable. Location & Team The Forensic Hospital is a high‑secure forensic mental health facility in New South Wales, providing specialist, therapeutic inpatient care for adults and adolescents in forensic, correctional, and high‑risk civil contexts. A multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals delivers care across the clinical spectrum.
