About the job SJC Engineering is a structural steel and metalwork fabricator and installer, based in South East Queensland. Projects range from commercial builds including schools, shopping centres, and apartments to high end residential. Work sites are predominantly in the Brisbane region. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Rigging and installing structural steel Assist in setup and packup of cranes Running and bolting purlins Directing cranes using whistles Slinging of loads General ground labour including drilling and installing chemical fasteners. Sundry works as required to complete scope of works You must possess the following skills and attributes: Minimum 12 months experience installing Structural Steel EWP ticket Working at Heights Have own tools. Own transport for work around Brisbane area Read & Interpret drawings. Fit & motivated to work. Have the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Show initiative within the workplace and commitment to safety. Have a high attention to detail within your workmanship. Boiler making experience advantageous Qualifications / Training / Certificates Applicants must have current Australian drivers' licence. Construction Card (Blue / White Card) HRWL: EWP ticket Scissor lift yellow card HRWL: (RB) Rigger Basic or (RI) Rigger Intermediate or (DG) Dogger When applying for this position please attach your resume and one work reference.
