Mental Health Enrolled Nurse Join to apply for the Mental Health Enrolled Nurse role at NSW Health in the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD). Employment Type : Permanent and Temporary – Full Time and Part Time roles available (with possibility of ongoing employment). Position Classification : Enrolled Nurse Remuneration : $33.78 – $36.70 per hour Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : REQ Where You'll Be Working We have a number of specialised Mental Health positions across Macquarie Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Hornsby Ku‑Ring‑gai. What You'll Be Doing The Enrolled Nurse (EN) within Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MDHA) Services demonstrates competence in the provision of patient‑centred care across a range of both acute and non‑acute care settings, providing support to both the nursing and multidisciplinary team. The EN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Qualifications & Experience Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Annual Registration – Enrolled Nurse Division 2. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Current mental health clinical knowledge and proven problem‑solving ability within a clinical setting. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11).
